A gradient-boosting model scores ICU patients every hour from vitals and labs, aiming to flag sepsis up to 12 hours before clinical onset. Pick a real, held-out patient from the PhysioNet 2019 Challenge data and watch the risk score build hour by hour.

Evaluation uses the PhysioNet 2019 utility metric.
